Jellyfish at the National Aquarium

I recently went to the National Aquarium in Baltimore with a friend.  It was a ton of fun and I managed to get a few decent photos out of the visit too.  My favorites from the trip are the four jellyfish photos below.

Each photo was taken with my om-d and new 60/2.8 macro lens.  The autofocus performed quite well given the challenging lighting.  I wish that there were a way to have a little window in the viewfinder showing a magnified view.

I experienced some frustration with the autofocus when it was in manual override mode — it seems as if one has to keep the shutter half pressed while manual focusing.  Otherwise, the camera refocuses.  Rather frustrating, but I guess I could go to full manual focus.  I don’t own any other autofocus lenses anyway so it wouldn’t be much of an adjustment.

Enjoy.
